To the general public, the runway models are the type most glamorous models, as they have the opportunity to dress in clothes from top designers and thousands of people paraded on runways around the world. The runway models always seem to be surrounded by great people; travel to the most fashionable and wearable always last.

In general, runway models are usually higher, thinner and with a much more defined features a photo model. This is because with a photo model can always use lights, makeup and camera lens, so it looks like the model is taller, thinner or prettier. However, runway models have to be in real life the same way you would in a photograph.

Most runway models are very young, aged 16 to 21 years. Experts say this is because a girl at the age of 16 years is much more radiant, firmer skin is perfect and therefore will not be tired.

The way you walk down the runway is not the way that anyone walking downs the street.

The way in which a model walks down the catwalk is an interpretation. The model must move with elegance and softness. The gait has to look good from any perspective, as a parade is viewed from all directions.
